Earlier I committed some Bizarrolith acts by drinking beer and dancing badly to The Killers, who are an atrocious band but who happened to be the best thing going over at the local indie disco. All this in the context of sampling Cardiff's night life for the first time after several years of monk-like monogamy. I'm not sure I'm cut out for re-entry into any sort of scene at this age but understand that getting out of my heavily defended comfort zone is the only way to save my self-respect, by killing it.

I took heavy losses to my Self-Esteem playing Mario Kart Wii with my Brother earlier.

This was a fairly fantastic way to end a day which consited of, mostly, failing to hold back tears completely while serving customers at work.

Sunn0))) is one of the greatest live bands I've ever seen. Nothing on youtube is going to do them justice, not will any home audio at this hour unless you're willing to severely piss off you neighbors. There's very little like experiencing them live. It's a visceral bass-through-the-organs experience that's not really conveyable in words.

Good news on that job! It sounds exciting. I'm in the middle of an early-stage project myself, and it feels very inspiring.
