Saint Keggers

Noo! That's where the girl from the tape is! Dont answer the phone.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:14 / 04.07.08
THE PHONE CALL WENT TO VOICEMAIL. YOUR PHONE WILL DIE IN SEVEN DAYS.

Saint Keggers
01:16 / 04.07.08
Meh. Nobody calls me anyway. What do I care. Besides everyone knows the hip people use smoke signals and semaphore.

Liger Null
01:18 / 04.07.08
What's semaphore? Is that the thing with the flags?

Saint Keggers
01:18 / 04.07.08
Yes. Its the thing with the flags.
But not a flagpole.

Liger Null
01:24 / 04.07.08
Wasn't there an episode of Mcgyver where he was trapped in a junkyard by gangsters so he tied semaphore flags to a balloon to send an sos message to the cops or something?

Saint Keggers
01:27 / 04.07.08
I dont know.. its been so long since I've seen MacGyver.
but xkcd got it right...

This one is called MacGyver Gets Lazy

Saint Keggers
01:40 / 04.07.08
I've killed yet another one, havent I?

Liger Null
01:45 / 04.07.08
ha HA!

NO I AM TEH THREAD KILAAAAH!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:47 / 04.07.08
I'm still here. Honestly. Down here, all alone...

Saint Keggers
01:51 / 04.07.08
Yes, Liger, but I am Spartacus.

Dammit Papers, next time bring a ladder or rope or Lassie.

Liger Null
02:11 / 04.07.08
Or Sting.

He's a good digger.

Saint Keggers
02:13 / 04.07.08
Im no following where you're going.

Sting...Digger... nope. ya lost me.

Liger Null
02:21 / 04.07.08
Dude, that Simpsons episode where Bart is stuck in a well, and Sting is helping to dig him out?

Also:

Homer stating that Sting is a good digger while he is helping dig Bart out of the well is appropriate and somewhat ironic due to the fact that Sting worked as a ditch digger (as well as a few other professions) before he became a full time musician.

Saint Keggers
02:30 / 04.07.08
Ah. ok.

That was far too long ago to stay in my memorybank.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
00:45 / 05.07.08
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

This Sunday
01:01 / 06.07.08
So, I have become a pet sofa.

How are y'all doing?

Kali, Queen of Kitteh
04:28 / 06.07.08
Going to bed after the Tom Waits show or would love to hang out. My brain is all kindsa fried from awesomeness.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:10 / 07.07.08
I'm here, trying not to scream while coordinating three out-of-town visits happening in the next week and my grad school applications.

Saint Keggers
01:24 / 07.07.08
Hai.
I just got back from Tim Hortons, mellowing with a neighbour and buying alchomahol...

hugs all arounds.

Saint Keggers
01:50 / 07.07.08
anyone???

le sigh

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:55 / 07.07.08
Still here! Listening to Titus Andronicus's song "Albert Camus."

Saint Keggers
02:03 / 07.07.08
After "still here" everything was converted to Charly Brown teacher talk

This Sunday
06:03 / 07.07.08
It's astonishing the things the phrase Titus Andronicus's song "Albert Camus." does to my quaint little geek heart.

This Sunday
00:36 / 08.07.08
Are Olive Garden commercials designed specifically to encourage violent acts? Just wondering.

Liger Null
01:08 / 08.07.08
I think they were designed specifically to encourage gluttony, like all advertising.

This Sunday
01:23 / 08.07.08
It's kind of sad that I actually enjoy their food, but every time I see an ad, I never want to go again.

So, what're you up to tonight, LN?

Liger Null
01:30 / 08.07.08
Nothing much. Just some random net-surfing before retiring for the evening.

This Sunday
01:45 / 08.07.08
I don't know if I need sleep or coffee. Which, I suppose, is an answer in and of itself.

Everything just went suddenly very quiet in the neighborhood.

Liger Null
02:00 / 08.07.08
What was going on before, or is it just a naturally loud neighborhood?

This Sunday
02:08 / 08.07.08
I think they still think it's the fourth. Fireworks and squealing and then... a gentle breeze and a distant train.

I'm half afraid to look outside in case there's just some monstrous death fog that dropped everybody right there in the streets.

Liger Null
02:15 / 08.07.08
Or some kind of mind-control ray told them to stand around your home and stare into your window.

Don't. Look. Outside.

This Sunday
02:18 / 08.07.08
I'll look tomorrow. If everyone's ready to kick out blue-eyed syncronized blondies, then I'll know all I needed to.

Liger Null
02:24 / 08.07.08
So what Olive Garden commercial is causing you to consider hulking out?

This Sunday
02:34 / 08.07.08
The one where this guy's all the sudden "it's a family tradition that we move our plates to the left, because you ordered that!"

(a) they ordered it because they want it
(b) it's a restaurant, you can order whatever anybody else is ordering. The staff will not stop you.
(c)an overinflated sense of bullyish entitlement is not really that funny

And I wonder sometimes, why I usually mute the ads or why I tell myself not to think too hard about certain things.

That said, I think I'm going to go fix that coffee and put on Die Hard.
