You know, I never noticed before now, but they don't do a lot of spectator shots in hocket coverage, do they?

Baseball or basketball, soccer? Every so often it's let's look in and see who's interesting, misbehaving or painted goofily. But hockey has no interest.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
04:57 / 05.05.08
You need to understand, it's very cold in those seats. Wearing nuthin' but paint don't much cut it, yeah?

This Sunday
05:35 / 05.05.08
I think it might actually have to do with the fact hockey games move faster than, say, football. American football, that is.

And someone just agreed to pay me fifty bucks to change some of the specs on my MySpace page to see if anyone notices. They called me at eleven at night to suggest this, but they insist they're sober and I'll see the money in a couple days.

Keeps life interesting, all this.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
05:37 / 05.05.08
I got a hundred bucks from that writing workshop gig from a month ago, today. Over brunch. Over a lox benny on English muffin, with pan fries. It was a very good morning, actually.

What specs are you meant to be changing?

This Sunday
06:09 / 05.05.08
Relationship status.

I fear there's a plan there, but I'm always game for being set up if the pay off is entertaining enough. And anyway, fifty bucks.

(It's a good thing I'm such a mature, sensible adult, me.)

This Sunday
06:13 / 05.05.08
Now I want english muffin. Or a bagel. Cupcake. How do I not have anything resembling bread or breadlike stuff in this whole place?

Saint Keggers
02:39 / 07.05.08
Because you sir, are Bizzaro., living in Bizzaro world and I claim my (how much are people claiming nowadays?)

I have wine and art and now all that left to do is the lateshift.

Hello

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:42 / 07.05.08
I've accomplished next to nothing today. Really. Well, I made beans and a sandwich, but they weren't exactly culinary marvels.

How's Kegsy?

Saint Keggers
02:46 / 07.05.08
Today, Kegsy is good. Today, art is going well and that makes me a happy camper.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
02:54 / 07.05.08
Cool. I tried to write this afternoon and failed. What are you working on?

Saint Keggers
02:58 / 07.05.08
Designing a back tattoo (which will be painted) for a photoshoot.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
03:42 / 07.05.08
Cool. What's the tat of? Just a design, or something more specific?

Evil Scientist

What are you all still doing here? I was expecting the place to be a desolate wasteland when I got back. Also, I invited all of my Facebook friends over for a massive, and no doubt destructive, house party of the kind only previously seen in the film Weird Science.

Explain yourselves now, whilst I still have control of my fists.

Feverfew
10:20 / 11.05.08
THAT WOULD BE AN ECUMENICAL MATTER!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
22:34 / 11.05.08
We have possession of certain ... devices. Devices which can be ... attuned. To certain frequencies. Devices which can keep the Lith spinning as needed. So, no wasteland yet.

*shivers, slightly, caressing a steel control box*

Saint Keggers
22:36 / 11.05.08
Im starting to think I have this ability which allows me to know when somebody posts to the shift.

Hello Papers!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
23:21 / 11.05.08
Hello, Kegs.

I might as well be lost in a wasteland, I still feel like shit from this cold. But I have the merest hint of a story idea.

What`s up with you?

Saint Keggers
23:27 / 11.05.08
Aww Papers, that sucks. But colds will end. And life will, after a cold induced miasma, rise again!

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
23:38 / 11.05.08
It's been about a week now. The fever broke and then came back.

I'm fixing myself some chicken broth & shrimp wontons, when this movie finishes downloading.

Saint Keggers
23:43 / 11.05.08
mmm wontons.

Saint Keggers
23:46 / 11.05.08
what movie?

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
23:47 / 11.05.08
They're good. I'm investigating whether I have anything else to put in. Maybe udon noodles.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
00:50 / 14.05.08
Who's up! I have tea, chocolate, and strawberries.

Saint Keggers
01:11 / 14.05.08
Im up!
I have wine. No stawberries or chocolate or tea. However, in food related blabberings, the asparagus is up and I should cut some for supper tomorrow.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:14 / 14.05.08
You grow asparagus? That's very cool.

I have some in the fridge, possibly to be made into a breakfast scramble in the morning with some eggs, cheese, onions, and mushrooms.

I have an avocado I might have for dinner, sliced open and drenched in balsamic.

Saint Keggers
01:17 / 14.05.08
Yep. I grow asparagus, strawberries, currants, tomatos, rhubarb and pears. Im trying to find chokecherry trees to transpant for wine making.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:26 / 14.05.08
Wow. Good on you. I once killed a cactus by under-watering it, so I generally steer clear of being responsible for other life forms.

Saint Keggers
01:29 / 14.05.08
I spent most of my childhood summers on my grandparents farm so any fresh food I can grown on my own in the city is very much worth the work. So far the work consists of plant, pick and eat.

Saint Keggers
01:29 / 14.05.08
I once killed a bonsai by turning it into a warhammer 40k diorama.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:42 / 14.05.08
*snort*

My mum gardened pretty extensively, but I was always pretty terrible with the raspberries. They never really had a chance to ripen properly.

Saint Keggers
01:47 / 14.05.08
well the raspberries and pear tree were planted by my great grand parents. So they've had enough time to build up a resistance to anything my family could do to them.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:51 / 14.05.08
I think we had rhubarb as well, when I was pretty little, but I don't think that went over well when it was raw and off the plant, from what I recall.

Saint Keggers
01:55 / 14.05.08
yeah, its very sour when off the plant. I've got a great recipe that I really enjoy for strawbery/rhubarb crisp if you want to try that.

Hallo, Paper Spaceboy
01:58 / 14.05.08
Rhubarb pie is my god, of course, so yeah.

Though, to be honest, it's impossible to find fresh rhubarb on the island for some reason.

Saint Keggers
02:04 / 14.05.08
If you want I could send you some to transplant?
