Once again, Chaos proves itself to be a force bearing enough pressure to squeeze some 'meaning' out of the cracks and fissures of the quotidian...

Join in on the pentabration; 5 times a year, every 73 days:

Until a leap year turns up and throws a wrench into the works - but aren't more wrenches what we WANT and NEED?

We are the guardians of a perpetual motion machine that converts concrete into sense. In a world from which we can only anticipate incoherence, yet which always seems to have an explanation on hand, chaos IS order.

So let's celebrate chaos: that's an order!

Do you find yourselves spontaneously landed in the awkward position of trying to communicate with your "family" in late December? That's good, we can use that...

Sometimes. Sometimes what we want and need is more lube.

Yeah, dude, totally. Especially since I arguably worship Father Christmas (although my heart belongs to the Tooth Fairy).

Anyways I already have opportunities to partay a lot more than 5 times a year, but if 5 is good for you--hey, enjoy.

Does pentabration hurt? Does it hurt when?

Is it an order when?

Joking apart: Dear LCC, I regret to have to inform you that due to a superabundance of Discordians, jokers, pookhas, kozmik klownz, freakers of the mundanes, mundaners of the freaks, pranksters, punsters and sundry other assorted TrYyXtYrZ, Barbelith now has Trickster Fatigue. Rolling your golden apple into the hall will produce a chorus of "meh" and at best a couple of halfhearted digs before everyone goes back to whatever it was they were doing. Still, thanks for trying.

Why is it a mass? Christ's Mass I can understand, but why have a mass for chaos? Is Catholicism a big influence in your tradition?

Growing up in the "western world" I got a dose of the catholic symbol system, anyway.

As for "mass", well, "chowss-mis" sounds nice.

No, it's chaosmath. Hir keyboard has a speech impediment. Don't laugh, it's mean.

I've learned that crayons don't taste good, even the orange ones. What have you guys learned?

You had Cerulean crayons? Well, hark at you. Too good for sky blue, I suppose. I suppose you had proper Crayola crayons too, not 20p crayons from Asda. I suppose your mum told everyone you were gifted.

I bet your crayons tasted betterer than my crayons too.

That they never know any good tricks.

What do you consider a "good trick"

Who knows the "good tricks"

Do you know any yourself?

I know loads.

This isn't one of them.
