I am. It hadn't really hit me until I was complaining about my work to someone this morning, and they put things in perspective for me. Double-perspective, since they compared it, not only to my previous gigs, but to their current job, proofing medical journal articles. I may have more work, the pay may not be great, but I get to more or less do what I want in the opening salvos and even if they don't like it, and I have to do something else, I still get paid.
And then I thought of the shift, back in the days o' yore, and, well, I'm pretty sure it was you of the former-MO who told me to get rid of the agent. |
