I think I'm getting used to periodically being reminded we (the 'we' shifting semi-frequently) are not in a relationship. Not that kind. Entirely.
I'm getting to enjoy it, actually, as it seems to put people on more comfortable ground, and I'm crap at having expectations of people in those areas.
The getting to know you, securing their attentions (and thereby being owed attention, sex, whatever) end... um... haven't we got a resident super-amorous, super-condensed-relationship-loving type to make the sell to Meddy? Three a.m. conversations may not cut it, as they are obtainable otherwise. |
