The new season's first episode is recommended for sheer brutalness. Blood, gore, a suicidal president, exploding convicts, humor, more of the lovely weird conspiracy scenes, and of course metal at its misanthropic and dethklokish best. Great kickoff for the new season!
The second episode has a great ending as far as I 'm concerned. The tone of it is very different from the first, however. Focussing on in-band relations we get to see a side of Dethklok on public display that is completely different from the first episode. Strangely sweet and funny at the same time.
It's great to see anarchic and (to me) original things like this still being created and put out into the world. I love this show. I throroughly crush its characters, the music, the animation, the weird story line...in of course, the most brutal kind of way. |
