I think I may just have come up with a best-selling book title. Get your pooh-fu on!
laoi--my current insomnia solution is audiobooks, because I'm a "brain won't shut off" type. Preferably a book I've loved and read so that if I fall asleep and the thing keeps going and I can't figure out where I was, it doesn't really matter. (Music tends to wake me up because the volume is unpredictable.)
Audiobooks have a very soothing, bed-time quality to them Dark room, listening to someone tell me a story. I find that can't think about anything else, and I go to sleep. And I also feel like I'm not totally wasting time, if it's a good book. |
