Okay, so, what if we all come out of the ficsuit-closet and tell our real names, where do we live and anything else you want?

I'll go first.

My name is Franco Stagni. I live in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. I'm 20 years old. Tend to be a bit depressive, they tell me. Kind of disappointed with my own generation; I tend to think I should have been born 20 years earlier or 20 years later. I tend to say "tend".
I'm studying graphic design. My dream is to earn a living making comics, altrough I'm a bit obsessive with perfection, so I never get to finish anything. Some pictures by me (I only have these two in this hard drive):

A musical late-bloomer, I discovered actually good music about two years ago. Thats why the music thread and the big musical intellects of its participants intimidates me a little bit. (And about %80 of the references/homages/etc in "Phonogram"; I mean, okay, that's a different cultural landscape than mine, but still).

Some of my heroes/inspirators are: Andy Warhol, Charlie Kaufman, J. L. Borges, P. K. Dick, David Bowie, The Beatles, Daniel Clowes, Jack Kirby, J. G. Ballard, Ray Bradbury, Van Gogh, Picasso, Salvador Dali, Michael Moorcock, P. K. Dick, Adrian Tomine, Peter Milligan, Paul Pope, Oscar Wilde, David Cronenberg, Moebius, Brendan McCarthy, Jim Steranko, David Lynch, Gainax animes (esp. Evangelion and FLCL) and of course, that Morrison guy everybody seems to like around here, as he did my favourite comicbook EVAR; Flex Mentallo.

This list will probably be twice its size in about a month or two.

Although the introductions threads do often show a bit of a monoculture. It would be nice to try to broaden that out a bit, albeit rather tricky.

OK, in the spirit in which it was intended, my real name is Maffeo Barberini, born to the Florentine Barberini family. I spend my time making proclamations, helping cardinals escape the interests of the filth into their activities with housekeepers and/or children and posting on Barbelith. I'm an Aries.

Yes, I do look sort of Hasselhoffian in that picture. To be fair, though, that pic is about a year and a half old. I'll see if I have a more recent pic.
