Well, four of those, at least.

Admittedly, the live set's rather limited, consisting entirely of the album, but each and every one of those songs really came into its own (as it were, Matron). Honey Bee Let's Fly To Mars really did Stooge out quite impressively. And Man In The Moon was lovely. But Get It On and No Pussy Blues really did fucking shine live.

You lucky buggers. I definitely have to work that night so can't go. It felt strange coming back from ATP to realise that I wasn't going to see Grinderman play again that evening, as if it ought to be a daily occurence from then on...

I felt much the same... in fact, it felt really weird not being able to, at any given moment, look up and slightly to the left and have a 50% chance of Warren Ellis being there.

Woohoo! All you doubters (and my tiny inner doubter) were as wrong as a very wrong thing on a particularly wrong day. Grinderman are absolutely fucking brilliant.

Sounds like I'll have to get the album then. I saw them on Jools Holland and was very impressed - they made all the other acts look very boring indeed.

Out of interest, am I the only person on here that thinks "Abbatoir Blues" was absolutetly wonderful?

Those of you in or around NYC might be pleased to note that Grinderman will play with The White Stripes at Madison Square Garden on 24 July.

There will be some headlining gigs in Chicago and San Francisco as well.
