It's great, I especially loved the capoeirista fight in the burning temple. IMDb quotes are Kham: Where the hell is my elephant? and Kham: You killed my father, and you stole my elephant!.

xk: It's great. See soon as poss. Much elephant cuteness also.

Quantum*: I especially loved the capoeirista fight in the burning temple One thing I enjoyed about the film was how utterly illogical it was. Why did they go back to that Temple? No idea. "Well, we couldn't be bothered to write a reason into the script but we had this great fight scene!"

*edit: I'm an idiot.

That's Quantum to you, mister. Who needs logic when you have baby elephants and Nathan Jones?

I can't believe this thread didn't trip this circuit in my brain till now.

For those of you who thought Elephants couldn't possibly get any more magnificent, you ought to check out the Thai Elephant Orchestra. (Wee bit more info here).

They play instruments designed specifically for them, and not only can they fucking play, but they do it as a..... well....... orchestrated group. According to the first link they even play Beethoven and Hank Williams now, but their own music is incredible.

In appreciation of elephants and gift giving:

Presenting the artist, Kamala, at the Calgary Zoo.

Here are the paintings she does.
(You have to scroll down a bit.)
Yes, the artist is a Pachyderm.

Trix and Iamus: both of those links are awesome... but they do make a bit sad, in that the elephants aren't out in the wild. Still, they seem to have a better quality of life and chances for creative expression than many OAPs.

I can't wait to get home and play that video of the Elephant Orchestra.

I can't even describe how awesome the elephants' music is to listen to. I may seriously just keel over in appreciation. I really can't imagine the world being any more magical than the day you hear elephants' temple music.
