How is it I have been suffering from a hangover all day when I didn't have a drop of booze last night!?!? That's so bloody unfair.

Well, I may have missed Thursday at the Pluff - but sitting in the Roch tonight, someone said - is that D__________*, but taller, at the bar? And LO! I looked up, and it was Lurid, and it was good to see hir again.

I think I've caught up on some of the booze.



*D__________ is Lurid's Doppelganger, but the latter is taller.

Mix and I had a lovely time and managed to blag the Bloomsbury suite at the Bloomsbury hotel for less than half the price of a normal single room. It even had a spiral staircase up to the bedroom from a sitting room. I think the bloke on reception found us fairly hilarious in our drunken state and that's why he let us have it.

So nice to see everyone, especially people I haven't met before, (Stoatie, Lurid) and we really did have a rather fabulous time.

However, I am still not fully recovered. I am getting old.

I would just like to regsiter a very belated "bah!" regarding the fact I was out of the crapitol throughout all the aforementioned merrimakings. (Either I need to grow up and not spend Xmas with my family for once or the A-N's need to drop by Blighty at some other time of year, this leftoutness has a depressing deja-vu to it.)
