Is it cute, or must it die?

Can something be horrifyingly cute? If it can then I think it's that. It's cute, but I wouldn't want it on me.

Yeah, okay. That's fair.

It is, in fact, horrifically poisonous. Its cute fur or hairs or whatever is where the poison is located. Pet it and face your doom!

Actually the hairs just cause a local irritation, most likely similar to that which blades of grass impart. It won't cause your skin to fall off much and actual horrible death only occurs in a tiny percentage of cases.

I'm not a great bug lover but I rather like this particular one. Mind you, I suspect I might feel differently if I spotted one in my home.

Friggin hell! I just saw a longtail scamper vertically down the concrete part of one of my window frames, two floors up! I've lived with these critters before. And now every scratching sound in my creaky domain is freekin me out. I'm off into another room for a bit,...

Actually, I think it could have been a squirrel. I mean, it must have been a squirrel, right? I saw one on the roof of a house nearby only the other day,... Maybe they're in our loft?...Nah... Wouldn't I have noticed a "fluffy" tail? I mean, I saw it, double-taked, and saw it again just before it went out of view, and by the time my body reacted and I was at the window, it was too late. Nothing but shadows and windowframe... Had to be a squirrel though, eh?... Grrr... Little bastards are driving me nuts...

And sorry this is in the wrong thread. That really freaked me out. And the thread title seemed right.

No more coffee for me tonight.

There´s not such a difference between rats and squirrels, pw. They´re different families (Sciuridae and Muridae), but the same order (Rodentia).
