Where do you get mead from, Mordant? I've never seen it sold anywhere. Or maybe it is being sold and I'm just not noticing. Or maybe no-one wants to sell it to me and they hide all the mead when they see me coming.

I've never seen it sold anywhere either! Not even in shops with two colours of absithe! BUT--butbutbut--there is a tiny markety thing that happens on the highstreet here, just on Fridays, where you can buy all kinds of honey produce from this beekeeper.

Just on Fridays though.

Yeah. Last night was great, I was talking to cube for a bit, but forgot to give him a big hug at the end of the night like the other Edinburghianserans (I get happy with people in general when I'm a bit merry). Feel bad about that I do.

There used to be an offy in Sherborne (just outside Yeovil) that sold mead. I remember this from going to a gig there the first time I did acid and spending the rest of the night thinking I was a wandering minstrel.

Probably not sticking around long- I'm knackered and drunk and am trying to decide whether to burn another Masters Of Horror episode to CD to I can watch it on the PC with the good speakers which is in the room with my bed in it.

Did anyone take pictures of the great Edinburghianserans meet? I feel as if there should be some record of it! It sounds almost fictionally happy happy! Ha.

In fact, one of my best friends lives in Edinburgh, and I completely forgot about this fact. She keeps asking me to visit, but generally I'm too scared to go outside.

I'm not very good at going to places - not just because of a similar laziness that Mel mentiones - but a general all encompassing fear of going anywhere where I don't have a planned escape root. Ha.

I'd still try and come, mind. But I might hide in a corner. And then rise from that corner, so drunk as to be embarassing. And then apologise to barbelith as a whole.

If you want to like Thor, I suggest you watch The Edge Of Hell. I can't really say more than that. Other than the climactic battle between the archangel Triton and Satan, conducted via means of ROCK!!! and plasticene octopi, is really something quite special.

Suedey- there's some talk in the Gathering. It's still very much notional, but I'm trying to get everyone in the bands involved to hit TangoMango with sticks (as he's the one with promotional experience, contacts and friends who own venues) until it happens.

As for the name, I've been meaning to do it for a while, the old one just felt a bit akward. And it just sounds crap when applied to me in real life. Not that this one's probably any better.
