I'm not sure I'm comfortable with a women-only thread on Barbelith being enforceable
My position on this - just mine, btw, as I haven't discussed it with other policy mods - is that I'm acting as though there is a consensus about the nature of the women only thread, which policy mods are mildly enforcing, and male identified posters are largely respecting. However, I also think it is up for grabs if anyone wants to seriously contest it. But as I have no problem with the way it is at the moment, no one seems particularly upset by it and some posters clearly want such a space to exist, I'm happy to leave it as it is. |
