| Its a shame you haven't watched the video, alas, since the body language is quite interesting. Certainly, I think it is hard to watch it and believe that Spelke thinks Pinker's style involves dirty tactics. It isn't that kind of debate, and their positions really aren't as different as one might suppose - both believe that *overt* discrimination isn't a factor in explaining why there are fewer women in math, for instance. |
