The first part of the tour diary is now up online. I'll do more when I get a chance.

If you're coming to see us play with Acid Mothers Temple, Duracell and The Early Years on Sunday 19th November at Corsica Studios, London then you can get tickets here.

Please come early. We're on at 7.30pm and want as many people there as possible!

I will be there. What more could you possibly need?

Nothing.

I will be there too. So feel free to say hello or gesticulate over the noise or whatever the done thing is.

I shall be there, probably lurking in the DJ booth and wearing a hat. Do come and say hello.

(By the by, if people are definitely coming along to the gig, get your tickets in advance from the link Seth posted above if at all possible, as it will be more on the door).

PIN! AND RIZLA! Wow!

I'll be there. But that will be no surprise, as I think I've only not been to two of the HL gigs in London this year...

Two marriage proposals down... Two to go! Hee.

From Spill magazine, Issue 29, November 2006:

Hunting Lodge, The Croft, Bristol.

"...Seth Cooke however is the mesmerising eye of the storm. A mountain of a man, he attacks the drums with an almost Neolithic intensity, occasionally creeeping out from behind his drum stool to whip his band mates into a frenzy. Hunting Lodge manage to produce jarring, enthralling and exciting music and are a hard act to follow."

Mixmage brought this magazine back from a gig Planetman played in Cardiff. I can copy out the rest if you want it, but he thought you might especially like that bit!

I'd love to read the rest if you don't mind. At least that reviewer didn't say I was fat. "Mountain" is much better!

The other half of the article reads, from the beginning, as follows:

Guitarist Daniel Bennett and Bassist Clive Henry eschew the stage for the less confined area at the front of the stage, prowling menacingly back and forth attacking their instruments. Daniel in particular seems to be strangling the distorted chords from his guitar. Daniel Chandler's vocals are like the last protest of a man being dragged to the lunatic asylum. I have no idea what he is saying, but I believe he means every word. Then it goes on to the bit I already posted.

It was written by a man called Andy Devine, and at the bottom of the article is the url for your website.

Hunting Lodge at Kosmische

clicky on the pic and you'll get the rest from that night. They've all got a non-commercial/attribution CC licence if you wanna use them anywhere... (They're not brilliant -- I was too far from the stage; most of the time I was relying on my camera to show me what was happening!)

I have a load to put onto the Barbelith Flickr account when I've had time to sift through them. Some are great.

Those are awesome photos, Anna MF. May I use the one where I'm fifty foot tall and made out of gold on myspace?

Of course. Like I said, all my pics have got Creative Commons licences (in this case, the Attribution-ShareAlike-NonCommercial one), so as long as you use 'em with that in mind, you can do what you want with them.

And I just saw this and thought of you:

It's the last Hunting Lodge show of 2006. All up in your London.

Barden's Boudoir, 19th December. That's next week. Yay!

Aids Wolf are top of the bill and an awesome live band. Tiger Force are damned cool too. Plus Pre, who I've never heard.

Anyone who comes gets to sleep with Clive.

Will try to make this one- funnily enough, a friend at work gave me a flier (I presume Dan must have had them at ATP) last night saying "isn't this your mate's band that you keep telling me to watch?" I have sod all money, but it's our work Christmas bash that night to so I may try to neck plenty'o'boozes for free there and then head down.

Cool. It's nice to have those kind of coincidences in London, because it'd be lovely to be more well known there. Sometimes we feel like a proper band, sometimes we just wish that people were taking more notice of us.

I met one of the guys from Pre at the Upset the Rhythm show last night (Magik Markers rool) -- he works in Rough Trade apparently. He'd never heard of you either.

Still not sure if I'm going to make this. I want to, and it's a night I'm actually free but it'll depend on money and energy levels....
