Short fat feet or long thin feet?

Hate buying shoes. Hatehatenhate. My friend said to me a couple of weeks ago that the only women's shoes around at the moment are like school shoes, old lady's shoes or stilettoes which neither of us can wear, and she's right. No wonder I live in trainers, except that I need some new ones of those, too, and don't like any of the designs currently available except the ones that cost about 70 quid, which I refuse to buy on ethical principle and because my feet are the size of a child's so I don't see why I can't pay children's prices -- I used to be able to. Because the shoe designs used to be nicer.

Short with tiny toes (and a ring, if possible). Doesn't have to be fat or thin, as long as it less than size 8. Oh yeah, girls' feet, please.

Preferably on high heels, too

Oh yeah, my feet are size 11 1/2 (US), a bit hairy, with long toes. Not the best, but not the worse. Guess I misread the topic, I thought we should talk about what kind of feet we like, duh

Guess I misread the topic...

I dunno. I think that makes your reply all the more interesting. I momentarily imagined someone with the Dead Megatron ficsuit having tiny toes and high heels.

Size 8 1/2 US, women's size, which is I think about a 6 in British size, 39 European size. I'm 5'7" so they're proportionate. My toes are a little "chubby" and not long but I think they're kinda cute. I have a high arch.

I like to get pedicures, or, even better, I had a foot massage in China and it was something like heaven. I bought a pair of red (which a sheen of gold) Italian stillettos recently--they are hell to walk in but they are so damned lovely.

Personally, I love women's feet--esp. long, tanned feet, long, bony toes, very different from mine.

I remember those Clarks machines (the mechanical not the X-ray kind). I used to love love love them. Got a tiny thrill out of having my feet measured by the impersonal salesfolk, as I still do when being patted down by airport security. Am I the world's uniquest minor pervert?

My feet are relatively small for my height and a UK average size 6. I too have some Ferragamo flats that make them look tiny and fairylike. But they are almost triangular in shape (thanks Nan, those are your genes) and thus wear nubbly extrusions in the outside of any shoes I wear too assiduously. On the plus side, this makes them very sturdy and excellent for standing on.

I don't like my feet at all. Someone once said I have Fred Flinstone feet and I think that is true. Big and boxy. I like buying shoes in the UK though, because I'm used to US sizes so buying a size 8 is so exciting! (Even though that translates to a US size 10.)

I love my feet- they're adorable. Size 6.5 US, the big toes slightly hobbit-esque, but nothing too wooly. Longish toes, and still able to achieve that pretty arch, the only residual from ballet lessons when I was wee. They're fairly soft, since I'm about as athletic as your average bean-bag chair.

I think the fact that I'm somewhat top-heavy and the feet relatively small leads to a degree of klutziness that can be either dangerous or a quasi-ingenious device. "Oops, I've inadvertantly tripped and fallen into your lap. How clumsy of me. Is that a maglite in your pocket?"

This thread make me want to start painting my toenails again.

Size 11, fallen arches making them flat, very soft, tend to have a cut or bruise somewhere from football on them, quite skinny, hammered toes. Prone to rolling onto the instep.
