Perhaps everyone should remember that not everyone else on this board uses English as their first language, and sometimes the subtle nuances just aren't that clear? And that's not just it, either. I mean, I've known Haus online, and in real life, for over half a decade now, and sometimes I still don't always catch on when he's just taking the piss and when he's being serious... but I can also say the same for lots of other people, and am not using this as an advocation of animated emoticons.
But anyway, playing along with the silly spirit of this thread, I'd probably use one of these as avatars, since I've already used them as avatars elsewhere:
