I think the first time I went to the cinema it was Bambi. Then Star Wars. Or maybe the other way round... either way, they were both in about 1977 when I was six.
I missed the entire point of Bambi's mum getting wasted- instead of getting upset, I just assumed that she wasn't in fact dead, cos who'd kill Bambi's mum, ferfucksakes? I was probably the only child in the cinema going "nah, she's fine".

Yeah know what you mean regarding lack of sleep. I haven't had proper sleep in what seems like a month although at least Christmas provides excuse for late night distraction.
