It's such a mess. A sort of beautiful, pumping mess (it gets over "Something Kinda Ooh"'s excessively clean feel), but a mess nonetheless; it's hard to understand how it qualifies as an ideal single. Unless the actual album will indeed be something like Vitalic gone pop. Not that I'm complaining much, but it's a strange direction.

I recently started a new job making subtitles, in English, mostly for hearing-impaired viewers. We do a bunch of shows that aren't really aimed at the hearing-impaired, because of government regulations about how much the stations need to caption.

Today I felt like I had died and gone to heaven when I got to do a live music show featuring Girls Aloud!

The first song was Something Kinda Ooh, which was magical. Then Cheryl says, "Does anyone here remember our first number one single?"

I almost screamed across the office, I was so excited.

So, who is Everyone's Fave Member of Girls Aloud?

(Yes, misogynists, they are allowed!!!!)

The one that resembles a young Cilla Black has a place in my heart, of course, but, ultimately, she has to move over on the sofa of my feelings to make room for the one that looks a bit like a spider/Posh Becks/a spider.
