NY Post is sort of like a Murdoch Mail, I'd say, though not as smug. As a Murdoch tabloid people here would usually compare it to the Sun, but it's not quite as downmarket.
Fucking appalling rag - I got offered a free subscription to it on my first day in my new apartment in the States, and I'd never heard of it, so I thought "free paper, okay, go on then", only to find that it was basically Arabs Are Terrorists Daily, at least at that point. If they'd not fucked up anyway and stopped delivering it, I would have cancelled.
