'Did anyone ever come up with a decent update of Elite?'
EVE was mentioned;
I know a couple of EVE online addicts, stuck in a multiplayer online game they can't pause run from Iceland. Tragic. It's beautiful and evolving but the specs are quite high, and the options are still basically miner/cop/pirate. It's so addictive that in order to contact my best friend, since he wasn't answering his mobile or land phone or replying to emails or texts, I had to call a mutual friend and get him to send him an in-game ship to ship communique to call me. It's like smack. |
