Lets just hope tha Mango is on double duty tonight. NYE is too tempting a target for bombings

The stats thing that grant was referring to is the song's traffic on mp3.com. It's not really impacting on the charts that hard, but we've got a steady flow of traffic going on at the mo. That plus the RL plays and I'd say we have about 50-100 active magical heads on it and maybe 250-500 passive hookups to non-magicians that can't seem to get it out of their heads... it's working, digesting sickness and emanating lovelight, slowly gathering momentum. Maybe we're moving towards some sort of critical mass or maybe it'll be gentler than that: regardless, I think it's already making a difference. And it's only one month old. Wait and see what happens now it's plugged into the Amplifly!

It seems like what with all the talk of possible war between India and Pakistan, the Peace Mango (in all its various incarnations) becomes doubly important.......

happy 2002!

Did my ritual on the morning, (GMT), and, surprisingly, it proved more powerful than the night-time mango rituals (which would be another cool name for a band...). Wound up smashing some crockery, nearly burning my altar, and killing my Emergency Voodoo Top Hat. My feeling of gnosis when actually charging the mango was stronger than most of my previous gnoses, too.

My interpretation of all this is that our baby is building up to some kind of critical mass. The more we charge it, the more powerful it gets.

In fact, so powerful do I feel it's become, I'm kind of wondering if there's any point doing further charging rituals, or if we should just concentrate on distribution, now.

Opinions?

There is a difference between it being powerful for us, and powerful for the world.

IMO, I believe that more elaborate charging is not nescessary either. I do believe that daily shock treatment would be good. If we all spent five minutes a day to state the intent of Trans-D and listened to the "Music of the Mango" that along with distribution would be awesome dudes!

I've recently started to develop the feeling that excessive charging of a sigil or similar magickal working is not necessary.....if I cast sigils or spells a few months ago and the results are not immediately evident, my gut instinct says I should wait -- the intent and the magic is out there in the universe, and it takes a while for those thoughts to become reality. I think the same might go for the Peace Mango.

Or, in the words of Shakespeare, "Now let it work......."

I think for most spells, be they large in scope (like our Peace Mango) or small in scope (i.e. "get a boyfriend/girlfriend"), they need their time to sit and simmer on the proverbial cooking range of the Universe. With the Peace Mango or other such things, I say give it a month or so without more charging, and then do periodic charging to keep the servitor/sigil/desire/spell strong.

These are just my thoughts after about 9 months of working with this stuff.

We've done three mass chargings now, from full-moon to new-moon and back again, and the numbers are good there... I get the feeling it's complete as an entity.

What I'm intending to do with it- as I've been doing with Gek and the Amplifly- is to work with it shamanically, treating it as a live entity (which it might as well be, if it isn't already) and trying to hook it up with specific badnesses in the world- drawing out the stagnant blackbugroom energystuff and releasing it into the light. It's delicate though. We're talking about releasing tensions and such that go back hundreds of years, that people have been dying for as far back as memory goes.

I mean, looking at India and Pakistan- one way to 'release the tension' would be mutually assured destruction. That'd settle all the arguments but there might not be a planet left afterwards... movement from hatred towards love is going to throw up more than a few obstacles and these are better dissolved by the gentle shaking of bellylaughter than explosively removed by the bomb. So, no rush. We're talking high magick here, remember, magick on a global scale, and if it takes a thousand years to achieve a lasting peace I'm up for as many incarnations as it takes.

Did anyone else notice mango synchronicities around?

Ex.:
-The Get Fuzzy strip which was published the Sunday of the last charging had the punchline "I can smell the mango".

-At a New Year's Eve dinner I was attending, a wiccan girl who was, as far as I know, the only other practitioner of magick at the table and who didn't know about the Mango (though I've since told her) commented, after a first sip, that the wine kinda tasted like mango. Nobody else thought it tasted anything like mango.

Actually, my wife has been buying mangoes recently. I told her about the charging and that we needed to eat a mango for it (though we never did), and now she keeps on buying them.

Are we done with the Mango (doubt it) or are there other group chargings planned? When?

It's dissemination time.

As cusm said, there's a difference between it being powerful for us and powerful for the whole world. What we have to do is hook it up with the whole planet. The worst thing that can happen is that it blows a fuse and we have to try again.

The best thing that can happen is that it works. For real. Peace in our time. Can we dare to believe in such a beautiful thing? I hope so...

We need to find a way to establish a connection potential with the whole human race and even the planetary consciousness we're standing on. To insinuate a quantum mangoparticle into every instance of the state of crisis everywhere everywhen.

Can we somehow lift it off the fabric of spacetime and let it munch on the whole kaboodle? How? There's gotta be a way. We need an imaginative leap here. Synergy. Lateral thinking.

I'm completely bloody clueless. I'm going to try and disseminate the tune. I'm not quite sure how but I figure if I make it up as I go along and hold onto my happy thoughts it might work.

Flame On -- I just downloaded the "Peace Mango" song for the first time, tonight.

I!!! LOVE!!! THIS!!!! SONG!!!!!

GOD, I love this song!!! So catchy. So much fun!! You're a great singer, great musicianship is displayed in this delightfully catchy tune!!! The middle section, the end section with the saavy talk-rap, the way the lyrics incorporate the 'program', aims, and philosophy of the servitor, the cleverness of it all, the wonderful sense of humor the song has in its spirit and vibe -- it's really fantastic.

What a great songwriter you are! I seriously (and I am not exaggerating here) played the song about 25 times -- IN A ROW. It was so catchy, so much sheer FUN, I was grinning from ear to ear, laughing out loud with delight, I just had to keep playing it. And each time (towards the very end, around songplay #20 or so) I kept saying to myself "OK, this'll be the last time I play it tonight....." But I just wanted to keep playing it!!

The e-card with the song incorporated into it was a brilliant idea. Was the idea of putting the sigil/graphic itself into the card ever discussed?

So what did I do, after falling madly in love with your terrific little composition/servitor? I sent it out to about 40 or so friends, writing a little introductory email to explain it (so it wouldn't be thought of or delted as a typically lame forward).

Long live the mango! I can't thank you enough for the joy you've brought to me in this hour of my life! I realize this sounds like hyperbole, but I'm not exaggerating and I'm not being sarcastic. I truly loved this song.

And someone mentioned thinking more about mangoes lately, and associating the mango with peace in your mind....this has been happening to me as well, days before I read the post where someone made this comment.

The "transducer/seduce ya'" rhyme...brilliant. The song is just brilliant! I'm going to play it a lot more.......but that will be tomorrow. For now, to quote STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND (which I've just been reading for the first time), "Waiting is."

Oh -- I mentioned the idea that maybe the peace mango sigil/graphic could be part of the e-card's design in my post above, but then I realized that maybe the cool butterfly graphic (with the bar code of "friendship") is the "Quantum Butterfly" design referred to in another thread here. Is this the case? Does the butterfly mean something (i.e. another sigil/servitor activator)?

I think it would be a good idea to set a date in the near future for some target practice. If we can all decide on a world event that the Peace mango can be applied to and target that area, maybe we can tset our baby out.

Good Idea?

Hunterwolf...Flame wasn't given much choice with the graphic so it was a nice coincidence that the Amplifly image is also a butterfly. Maybe asking hir help in conjunction with sending the cards is a natural, logical step. It seems too good of an omen! Mangos & Butterflies for all!

Excellent! By the way, I notice more trends towards peace overseas -- with Palestine and India taking more steps to stop terrorists from freely operating. Al Qaeda's head financier walked straight up to the gates of a Kandahar US base, out of the blue, and surrendered himself.

Also, there are stronger peace efforts taking place in Colombia lately.

The Mango is in effect!

So where do people feel we should focus Transducer? Shall we clean up the Middle East or should we focus Ze on each of our own cities? Then we can report back with progresses that are made.

Suddenly the tune has started flying. HunterWolf's ecard binge may have started a small virtual landslide... but today IRL I got the chance to get copies to two seriously big music types, and long-forgotten contacts are emailing to set up more of the same...

I'm on a fucking great buzz about being able to feed this working in such a fun way

Hmm. I really must sort out some way of hearing the damn mango song...

Really Obvious Tactics Dept: if we have the thing on an e-card, couldn't we e-mail it to the various politicos involved in the various nastinesses we're trying to undo here? Yes, I know, there's bugger-all chance of them reading it, and we all hate getting those damn autoreplies, but it would establish a link. After all, you don't need to look at the common cold virus under an electron microscope to catch it - if it's in your general vincinity, it's gonna get ya...(hypothetical scenario: everyone emails the Mango to Sharon. Sharon never looks at the damn e-card - he's too busy blowing up newsreaders, or planning to enter the Israeli Sumo Olympics, or something - but one of his lowly, minimum-wage, why-the-hell-did-I-decide-to-do-works-experience-in-bloody-politics interns does see the card, and hears the tune. A few hours later, Sharon is walking down the hall, past our Frustrated Intern Guy, who seems in an inordinately good mood and is, in fact, whistling the mango song...Contact!)

Bizarre Instances of the Mango Working Dept: Apparently Greece and Turkey are starting renewed negotiations about Cyprus, with a view to solving the political problems there...

Quixotic Campaigning Dept: I can't do a Flame and knock up and distribute the Mango Song, but I do have a gig coming up in Dewsbury at the end of the week, and I will be taking some copies of the sigil along - and explaining what it's about to the people I'm performing for. Watch this space for further updates, in our soon-to-be-announced Spectacular Failures Dept...

Anyway, enough of this. Just noticed the computer I'm on has headphones next to it. Hmmm...

Oh yeaaah!

Yes, I've finaly listened to it, and, like everyone else, have emailed it out to a whole buncha people within scant seconds of the song's finish.

We are soooooo going to win this...
