| Oh, I also read some more books and saw another movie. "Hustle and Flow" about a 2 bit pimp trying to break into the rap game. There was one really good line by the guy that the pimp recruited to be his producer. They were talking about how they really needed this thing to take off, and the producer guy, who was leading a pretty normal life, wife, sunday dinners, steady job said something like "Remeber all that bullshit in high school? I was gonna own a studio, all these big dreams, I was gonna do something? Now? Now I'm just paying rent man." I liked it, and due to my current situation, the "paying rent" line made me smile. |
