I'll have the full details somewhere but I can rememmber that Spare lived in Ilford for awhile, after the falling out and then spent his latter days in Brixton, South London. Lived for a while on the Walworth Road I believe.
Just to add to the Spare comments.
He was born in Snow Hill which is in the City near Smithfield. I'm guessing he lived there till he went to art school.
He spent his last years in a flat in Wynne Road off Brixton road. Sadly what was his flat is now burried under the Stockwell Park estate. Wynne Rooad was shortened when when the estate was built.
I wasn't aware of him living in Ilford but I think he had relatives there (a sister?) and was burried in St Mary's church.
