I agree: Carpenter's Cig Burns was righteous and by far the best episode in a rather patchy (but welcome) series. Nothing else I've seen (and I've seen half only) touches it. The Dante was a huge, HUGE letdown: far too on the nose. Wish I hadn't seen it, b/c it was better, sharper, nastier in my mind.
I'm lookiong FWD to the new Carpenter ep: same writing team (Moriarty/Drew McWeeney from AICN), now tackling abortion. |
