Phyrephox: Glasgow bound - if you really would like some cat company at home you have several options: Cats Protection League/RSPCA/your local rescue centre are nearly always desperate for foster homes for cats. Foster cats can't be let out, so being high up in a flat wouldn't matter (as long as they couldn't fall out of any windows). Equally there are lots of cats with conditions such as Feline AIDS who will live long lives but can't be allowed to mix with other cats, so again an indoors home is great for them. Cats that are either blind or deaf generally need to live inside as they can't anticipate dangers etc. Similarly very old cats are often happy so long as there's a radiator near by. |
