Well, it's that time of night when I'm sat in the office swearing about the vegetables in Account Management, which usually coincides with it being both late and shifty, so I'd say a big yes to the titular (I love the word "titular") question.

But it feels so early. It always feels early when the pubs shut. I just don't understand this world where alcohol serving must finish at 11/2. Not that I could afford anymore, to be honest with you. But I'm lucky if I make it out before 10.

On new years, I got to the pub at 12.10. It was rubbish.

To be honest, I’ve completely lost track of time. I say I think it's late, but I haven’t been outside today, and it’s been so overcast and miserable out that the light has been on since I got up. And without the ups and downs of natural light I’m all fuzzy. Even more fuzzy than normal.

Phantom: I’ve seen it just the once. I seem to remember thinking he looked like he’d fallen in a big bucket of paint. Nekkid. And also that if I were to splice together the best bits from the Phantom with the best bits from the Shadow, and dubbed a whole load of new dialogue over the top, possibly in French, I might just about end up with one good film.
