Do you really have to work on CHRISTMAS...?

Yeah. You see, a group home is running 24/7/365. Since those stupid laws went into effect, we can't just chain the boys to the floor in the fetal position anymore so that we can all get the holidays off. Lousy, stupid laws.

You're just going to a movie and out ot eat on Christmas? How sad.

Really? It's SAD to use an evening off to have someone else cook for me and spend a couple of hours in a movie theater? Maybe we should think about treating POWs that way then.

Piffle. I'm FIRMLY of the opinion now thast if right wing mutton heads like Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly want to claim Christmas for the right wing, they can have it. As long as I still get a day off within a week of it so I can get a decent night's sleep.

Well, I've had a lovely Christmas, round at my cousins house, I didn't get interrogated, but I did do some interrogating, listen to tales about the homicides he's worked on - don't worry, he's a copper not a murderer - yes, I think Christmas day is a time for goodwill to all men, even THE MAN. Drinking, overeating, X Box,Harry Potter - very pleasant really.

Well as long as were swapping christmas horrer storys, my kid brother got sent to prison for two months a couple of weeks ago, this will be the longest hes ever stayed away from home.
So my christmas season has been filled with tears, keeping my shit together cos somebody has too, and tears. We didnt actually celabrate christmas, my mom has decided that thats going to happen when he gets out, yes that means no presants, no good food and my mom collapsing in tears about 11.
It probley wouldnt have been too christmasy any way my little bro, being the youngest, is the one that gets most excited about christmas anyway. (his fine by the way,apparantly prison is just like Big Brother except the standerd of person you are likly to meet is slightly higher)

and to top it all off a thin blanket of snow to really rub salty piss in the wounds.
