Dear Gek,

(This is for tomorrow, BTW) Can I please, with the minimum of fuss, arrange for my year to defer their multimedia unit till next May puhleeeese? They're awfully nice blokes and I'd hate to let them down. I'd also like to finish my studio project tomorrow if that can be arranged.

Thanks again for the circuit- my lab tutor was suitably impressed- and thanks for the general upswing in my academic life. I promise to dedicate my lunchtime biscuit to you.

Hello, Gek, and impulsivelad

Four hours, 55 questions, and a lot of prayers later...

I've pass the exam! Yahoo! Now, going to sacrifice more cookies and milk... and study for the next exam (more four to go...).

Thank you beddy beddy much.

Gek, I need your help, my essay on Ferdinand de Saussure is going badly. Probably because I have no concentration... obviuously you can't write the essay for me but I was just hoping that you'd give me some focus. I will be eating a jacket potato for dinner in your name and then some bourbon biscuits for pudding. Love you!

Or, you may not. After my post, I strolled off to a cafe to work on my NaNo novel. I had cookies, I had milk.

I was sort of disappointed by the cookies. Regardless, a fellow NaNo author showed up a couple of hours later to lend me a baby laptop word processor. Armed with that, it was a 3400-word day, followed by a 2000-word day, and later a 4400-word day...

Thanks Gek! =D

Okay, Gek ol' buddy, I apologize for having milk NOR biscuits the other day. It was kind of an experiment- I wanted to see if I'd get my wishes anyhow, reflecting that if I did it would be evidence against the effictiveness of Gek. (I know, I know.) Well, the studio had been commandeered for tutorials so I didn't get any work done; I didn't get to see the right member of staff so I still didn't get my deferral. Then for good mesure my central heating broke down and I caught a chill.

See? This is where non-biscuit-eating gets you. Gek, I'm not really in the mood for biscuits to-nite but I'll certainly dedicate a drink of milk to you if you'll only forgive me enough to sort out my cold and make sure my emergency repairs to the heating system's electronics hold out. And tomorrow I really will get the biscuits in. Promise.

Thanks Mordant, this was a great experiment and I'm glad Gek passed (which made hir stronger). Remember it's ok to occasionally test these ethereal types just to make sure they don't get too lazy!

Hi, Gek. You don't know me, but I promise to eat large amounts of cookies and milk in your honor tomorrow (more than I usually eat).

Here are my two related requests:

1) I need a part-time job here in Manhattan that is not drudgery or dull- preferably I'd like something related to books or writing or editing or something like that. The sooner the better.

2) I need a temporary full-time job back home for when I'm there over the winter. For that job, I just want to make as much money in that four-week period as is possible and not to be exhausted.

These are both somewhat mundane requests, but sometimes life is mundane, unfortunatly.
Thanks in advance!

Gek!

I've got a whole packet of choc-chip biscuits, and a big container of milk if only you'll help me dig up some cash to wipe those debts (and give some people some much-needed Xmas presents) and make work clearer and more secure in a beneficial (to me) way. There's lots of biccies to come, my invisible friend...

Oh, and if I could win that computer competition I entered today, that would rock indeed.

Gek,

There are many things I, like anyone else would love to wish for, but the one on my mind right now is... I really want my mom to get better. It seems so unfair for a woman as young as she to have to take to her bed.

Plenty of milk and cookies on this one...

dear gek, please could you fix it for me to have a fixed hot tap in the bathroom by the end of the week? it needs a new washer and the bathroom needs a moisture extraction facility and the hot water pressure's gone mad since the weather's got colder and it's becoming a bit of a pain, especially with having the psoriasis which means i need to take long soaks in the bath.

so please, with biscuits nibbled in your name (chocolate fingers, jammie dodgers and chocolate digestives all sitting in front of my keyboard next to the hot chocolate), could you get the bathroom fixed up by the end of the week? household happiness depends on it. i'll get the rest of them guzzling biccies this evening.

Just wanted to say thanks again to impulsivelad and Gek for continuing to work on my requests......just got a new batch o' cookies for you, Gekky old pal. I see progress in my reality on my goals.....they are not fully realized yet, but I can see slow and deliberate improvements and changes, which will no doubt lead to the results I seek. Thanks again! Good wishes to all.

I was up in Glasgow and I met Gek

I was staying in the room my ex-landlady used for all her magic... guess it made the walls thin.

Gek seemed to be made entirely of speech and text but with little fragments of identity here and there. (s)he seems to have co-opted a lot of discarded/exploded fiction suits- Elmo is in there, and I half-recognised lots of others.

Cool little greebly though, I tell ya )

Strange... for my last wish, I just offered milk (and soya's milk) for Gek. And it worked.

So, I have two explanations: or, I passed this exam with my own effort , or Gek just helped me to get the minimum to pass. Different from the previous exam, I just took 700 from 1000 (in the other exam, I took 920 from 1000).

Gek, please make my ex-business paid all the money they are owing me, until the end of this year, and in cash, pleeeease (the Justice already gave me the reason for receiving the money, but the final decision in stuck in the bureaucracy for at least six months ).

Right now I'll buy big and good portions of cookies to sacrifice... and soya's milk. Deal?

Oh, and just for the record:

Thank you Gek! My girlfriend definitelly changed her work hours (from 5:00 PM - 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM), so, now she's going back earlier home, in a much more safe time. She'll sleep better, her family is much more relieved, and so is me!

Looks like I'll have to sacrifice an entire truck of cookies and milk...

Thought you all might like to know that I actually managed to get some work done after sacrificing my jacket potato to Gek the other day - obviously (s)he enjoys some carbohydrate in his diet. I also tried to explain what Gek was after telling my housemates they couldn't have any biscuits without thinking in hir direction. They were very confused people.

ok gek, i've been getting the flatmates to chomp ginger cookies on your behalf, and i remembered that i do have goats milk with my breakfast cereal, so it's all for you buddy!

i am going to phone the management agency for our flat right now, and get someone to come around and fix the bathroom tap, which is now spewing out about three full bathfuls of hot water a day, if not more (i forgot to do it yesterday, despite remembering to chomp the biscuits). much munching and slurping to commence this afternoon in your honour, gek.

Hi Gek,

First of all, reports from my mother that her pain has lessoned, thank you...

Now for a slightly more selfish request. My husband christmas bonus has seemingly fallen through, something we were desperately counting on. Well Santa needs some help coming up with gifts so to speak... So a little help *whispering dollar amount in Geks ear* would really really help out.

I have done a sigil, but alas, I am very new at this, and well, want to cover my bases.

Cookies and milk are out for ya buddy, just look for the lit candle!

Does anyone know where the original thread has gone to? I'd like to know a little bit more about how Gek was put together...

Um, hi Gek. I'd really appreciate it if you could help hook me up with a new job - something interesting that will bump me into a higher tax bracket and reduce my stress levels. Somewhere that would let me dye my hair purple again would be nice, but that's less important than finding a decent job quickly. Thanks, and plenty of milk n' cookies coming your way!

I just made a little image of Gek I'm very proud of and want to share with you. It's a combination of the Gek video game image someone just posted and the earlier post wherein someone said they saw Gek in Glasgow and s/he seemed to be composed mostly of text and information.

Can I fax it to someone? Don't have a scanner. Would love to show it to everyone!
