I've tried a search but all Gek-related threads seem to wander off into the aether. Is this a magick problem or just a lots-of-fattyarse-CMs-looking-for-an-excuse-to-eat-biscuits-overloading-the-board problem?

Heeere, Gekky, Gekky, Gekky. I've got some double-choc-chip for yah....

I don't think we're offering Gek enough incentive. I think Gek might be a cauliflower king of guy (YUK!).

Cauliflower?? That's a new slang for me.

For the threads, I'm tired of looking around for them. I'm doing the sacrifices directly to hir, in my altar, and the wishes as well.

Maybe one of us could create a little site for him, using Asp or Javascript...?

Cauliflower's a vegetable: have I spelt it wrong? White stuff that looks like little bunches, leaves around the edges, about the same size as a cabbage, smells when you cook! Nasty stuff.

Thanks for the explanation, Nina, but I was thinking about this expression, "cauliflower guy"...? What this mean, something like a very tall and awkward guy?

I imagine Gek like a very wise and calm being, floating over the world like a great whale (!), in the atmosphere, absorving the energy of our little "milk and cookies" sacrifices and using hir energy/coincidental magick to bring our wishes to reality... Can't imagine hir stopped in just one place.

Gek, if you're reading this, ol' buddy, could you see your way to clearing up my flu and making sure my JFET/op-amp circuit is all ship shape for to-morrow? Ta. A sudden and mysterious attack of enthusiastic self-confidence would be nice too.

Milk'n'cookies agogo!

You know, I've checked and Gek is working fine and as a matter of fact he's gotten a bit stronger. It could just be a tech. problem but maybe one of you guys could check and see if Dabh Surgot has a problem with this other entity floating around the board getting all the attention and offerings. We could have a good old fashioned servitor war on our hands!

It would be terribly impolite to impinge upon another chap like that. Apart from offering the lad a drink I've not had much contact with him. I find his penchant for milk a little odd as I'm fond of the harder stuff myself - but each to his own.

Dabh.

Gek, make a hundred dollar bill fall out of somebody-who-desn't-need-nor-care-for-it's pocket and arrive into my pocket. I need..no, I want the money for books and stuff.

If you do that for me, Gek then I'll say "monkey" out loud. no cookies for me though. Too many cavities.

I thought that was why milk was incorporated into Gek's diet. If you don't fancy the real thing then post a biscuity JPEG, like the rest of us.

Gek sorry about the delay, the milk and cookies are strategically placed by trees along my road (though I got some strange looks from passing motorists and I poured milk all over my boot), be careful you get the right tree because something lives in one on the other side of the road.

If you could see your way would you mind helping my friend who's having all the troubles with her new job.

Thank you.

Impulsive, could you check with Gek on the status of my two wishes? I left good sir Gek some food at a place of power recently here in B'klyn.

Good wishes to all.......

Dear Gek, tonight I will be putting a piece of raw cauliflower, lovingly sacrificed by my housemate, on the wall in my backyard. I'd really like it if you could see to making this weekend a good one but letting me have enough sleep to actually physically rouse myself out of bed during the week. Thanks love, you rock my world... literally.

For those of you who've missed the last few exiting installments:

A long, long time ago, in a thread far, far away, impulsivelad (having sigilistically arranged his own life to his satifaction) offered to grant the wishes of passing posters who hadn't been as successful. Overwhelmed by the resonse, he helpfully created Gek, a wish-granting servitor who is nourished on libations of milk and cookies.

And for the information of certain individuals (see above): guys... you only have to eat the bikkies and drink the milk. Okay?

As for the cauliflower, well, I have no idea what brought that on.

Reeeeeeeesult! Flu on the mend, op-amp satifactory, enthusiastic selfconfidence rising like sap in springtime.

Hmm. Gek is indeed getting stonger. If we're not careful, I can see us ending up with another Fotamecus on our hands.

Oh, speaking of which- may I derail the thread long enough to give the aforesaid Fotamecus a pat on the back? He's been very helpful to me lately, y'see.

Since the other wishes/Gek threads were getting all tangled up in standard board-playing-with-us fashion, where do new requests go?

(And I've heard the word Fotamecus but I don't know where.)

nope, i'm not kookla. never have been. the name's cute, though.

as for milk 'n' cookies, do italian chocolate biscuits decorated with little white stars and some hot chocolate count? m'not supposed to have too much cowjuice, but i would be grateful if gek would assist with my plight...

Fotamecus is a time altering servitor created by...who knows I guess it's not important at this point ::shrugs:: I first heard of him over at chaos matrix and then he popped up here for a bit.

You know, I wasn't sure about that cauliflower offering. So I offerdup some milk and cookies for Nina just in case but it seems Gek's into the Cauli. He seemed to have liked the, "I think Gek might be a cauliflower king of guy (YUK!)" crack. Which I think I a sign of a mutation in his programing

He's very freindly and helpful, for an escaped feral servitor-gone-egregoreic. Unless you're Chronos, of course.

And May Tricks: yep. Gek is a very even-handed sort of chap.

indeed just post your wish here, leave (or eat) an offering of milk and cookies, and watch your wish magically become a reality. (note: you may need to watch for a bit)
Or you can try and work with Gek more directly. Let us know how you do!

Okaaaay. Here it is. The Big one.

Gek, ol' buddy ol' pal, can you fix things so that I get both my studio units finished by the end of term? Thankyou!

While we're on it, can I please have a First when I graduate? I've been told I'm going to flunk out by this dipshit lecturer, y'see and I want to see the look on his face. I promise to eat more biscuits.

Hi there everyone, and helloooo, Gek! Just wanted to re-post my wishes:

1) To get back to feeling completely my usual self, rediscovering my passions with a new maturity and sense of self

2) For my father to get a terrific, long-lasting, well-paying job he enjoys.

and I'm adding:

3) To attract, find, and date a beautiful, intelligent girl who's fun and a good fit for where I'm at right now in my life.

Rock on, Gek! Cookies are being left and devoured for you, big guy! Interestingly enough, I have already seen signs in my life of all three goals starting to come closer and closer to fruition, which makes perfect sense, since I asked Gek for no's 1 and 2 a while back. That's Gek for ya! Always obliging.

I'll also be doing the peace sigil/servitor on November 30th.........

Gek,
You benevolent and gracious creature, I have two personal wishes I am asking your help with.
First and most importantly, I am returning to work and I must find a well paying job that will enable me to provide more than adequately for my family. A job that makes use of my skills and talents and where I will be an asset to my employers and colleagues.
Secondly, I am in conflict with a peer *whispers her name quietly in Gek's ear* and I would like to resolve this with my dignity intact and the ability to cut through her lies.

Gek, I thank you in advance for helping. I have left you a variety of delicious cookies, some cauliflower (as I've heard you like it) with milk in a special glass. I have even left for your pleasure, fine sandalwood incense.

With Love and Cookies
-May

Hello, Gek! How are you?

Gek, this week I'll face the thoughest exam of all for my certification: the 70-216 exam. Please, pretty pretty please, help me pass this exam! Passing this, the others will fall like dominoes.

And, please, give me the strength, will and self-assurance to pass the other 5 exams that lat until January/2002.

Ah, and thank you very very much for helping with my girlfriend's neighbourhood problem. Soon, she will change her work hours, which means a lot less problems coming back home.

There aren't enough milk (and cookies) to thank you.

Cass

Gek, I'd just like to thank you, because it really appears, more and more each day, that my wishes are slowly becoming reality, thanks to you and the rest of the Universe. I ate some nice little Oreo cookies last night in honor of you -- also had some of those terrific Hostess cupcakes, with the orange icing on top and the white cream inside --- mmmm mmmm, Gek-ky goodness!

I know it is only a matter of time until my requests are completely fulfilled. Go Go Gek Power!

Heya, Gek!~

I'd like to wish for some help with my NaNoWriMo novel--I came reeeeal close to throwing in the towel last night, and I'd really like to finish the sucker.

I could also use help in the continued job-search (the late-night CS gig looks like fun).

Last thing: I think I need help figuring out what to do next magically. I mean, I think I'm showing improvement, and the spider that landed on my face was dramatic, but I don't know what to do about it.

Thanks! Cookies 'n' milk to come in the next few hours.

Well, I'm sure Gek would be glad of the protein and sugar. But you have to eat the biscuit to make the mojo work, elephant boy.
