Oh My God - it's Richie Secret Life in a Speedo!

If you mean Richie Edwards, HC, I entirely agree.

He had the decency to vanish, terminally, off the edge of the Clifton Suspenson Bridge - why can't everyone involved in this pointless, unamusing nightmare of a show do the same?

It is not too much to ask.

I do love Stephen Mangan though. 90 minutes of him reading the phone book out would satisfy me.

I, uh...*ahem*...quite enjoyed that. Quite a bit. Statham + Joanna's suicide pact was oddly sombre whereas the receding crime spree and all those acciental deaths ("Oh my crikey, I've sat on her to death") were, to my mind, jolly funny.

Any doubts regarding the quality of the show were swept beneath the subconscious carpet by the evening's viewing spilling over into 'blunder'. The network must be really regretting that...um...'blunder'. Arf.

Oop. Dropped the ball again with 'receding'. Freudian slip n'a half...

Yes, it was great. I do like the relationship between Mac and Guy in particular - it's so simultaneously nonsensical and well-observed. Guy really is a wanker (then again sometimes so is Mac); Mac knows this; but at the same time they really are friends. Oh, and I also love Boyce's bizarre but genuine love for Dr Statham...
