Agree that Nate didn't kill Lisa by not loving her or even liking her much, but I think the important thing is that Nate probably thinks he did - in that sense Brenda's fantasy sequence imagining Nate venting his emotions was accurate. He wanted Lisa gone, and the universe obliged.
Billy and Claire never got around to teh sex last time, did they? Regardless, I do agree that Billy is still trouble(d), and will not be good for Claire - who, with her increasing love of drugs, may remind him of Brenda a little too much...
I mainly find Claire's university experiences very real, rather than preferring her one way or another - she's having that experience of becoming one of the 'cool' arty kids having been one of the shunned outsider kids at school, which is a cliche because it happens all the time. I cringe at a lot of it, I worry, but I also laugh and smile because it's so true. And I hope that it will pass as these phases need to... |
