I've been fishing ever since I was but a wee child. But I havent gone since last summer. Its an addictive drug.

And I will not be f-u-c-k-i-n-g Brad. Nor will he be f-u-c-k-i-n-g me. Besides our children would be so damn cute they'd create a blackhole of cuteness sucking all cute from the world.

Nothing fancy, just a line, a tackle box and a row boat in our lake. Usually we catch either bass or pyke. We also fish off the island for catfish.

I've never fished over the side of a boat. I think it'd make for a pretty relaxing day though. I've only ever fished from the bank of a river.

Oh I loose plenty of lures...in weeds and rocks and fallen trees and not so fallen trees. If I buy a lure I consider it already lost, that way I dont care if I should happen to loose. Unless its a 30$ lure...then im pissed right off.

Oh. I thought maybe it wouldn't happen as often off the side of a boat. I was figuring that perhaps you didn't have to lower your line that deep.

I never liked loosing lures much, but one time I had this lure that was my favorite--so much so I never used it. Of course, the one day that I finally figured I'd use it I lost it on my first cast!

That's gotta suck! My cousin got himself a new rod and reel (I think he spent over 300$ on it) and on the first cast the whole thing flew out of his hands...I felt soo sorry for him.

I just wanted to announce that I have officially moved, and am now (I think) Barbelith's only resident North Carolinian. I hope I can still keep my honorary Canadian status, though.
