Brightly plumaged boidies are sooo much nicer than the usual grotty pigeons, is all. And I can't make the first weekend in July as I shall hopefully be a-picnicking at Kew Gardens for that Cultural Diaspora festival thingy....

Weekend after that is good for me, though, and hopefully the weather will be better by then too.

I only get online for a couple of hours a week, though, so if you don't hear from me, will SOMEONE TEXT OR PHONE ME so I don't miss it? Ta.

OK I know the weather is shit right now, but we don't know if it will be shit this weekend. I can't make it the following weekend, or any weekend besides this weekend until the end of july, because I'm off to the states for a few weeks. I was kinda looking forward to seeing all y'all barbeloids before I headed outta town. Any chance we could keep it this upcoming weekend, weather permitting? I mean, if all else fails, you could have *2* picnics, which would keep with the goal of having more picnics in Summer 2004, right?

Hmmm, BBC weather currently thinks dry and cloudy Saturday, sunny on Sunday. Pending other stuff Sunday might be possible, but BBC Weather would describe this evening as Sunny, so I'm not putting the hugest amount of faith in them right now.

What's to make up for. Some people were shooting some Razzle style porn in the adjoining alley, much to the fascination of a dropjawed group of Japanese tourists touring the gardens at the time.

I'm not sure that I can express how funny the entire situation was. Worth the journey alone.

Razzle is a top shelf magazine of the soft variety. I suspect that the shoot was illegal, but if it was legal it would be on some odd legal condition.

Public nudity is only allowed under very specific conditions, most of which can be overidden by a claim of indecency. Being ass naked in a lewd or lascivious manner is pretty much never going to get excepted.

Anyway, anyone up for this weekend, weather permitting?

So, it seems my friends have blown me out this weekend, but I am still planning to go to Kew Gardens for the Diaspora festival, probably on Sunday. If you can manage to find a leaflet, it gets you into Kew for free, and that's always nice even if the music isn't your thing... I personally only have one leaflet, but I should be able to get hold of some more...

Well, the weather was fine on Sunday but the Silverlink wasn't running so I didn't get to Kew. But I had a very pleasant time on Hampstead Heath anyway...
