Hmm, you're quite right. She saves Theseus with her ingenious thread-spinning only to find herself dumped with some natchos (okay, on Naxos) and turns instead to the God of Booze.
Och aye, Bacchus would have been a much more useful chum than that ditzy, untrustworthy adventurer, Theseus. Plus satyrs and fauns. Chips with everything. Oh yes.
