Cold floor! Absolutely!

A couple of months ago, the family with little twins (living right under me) moved out. And now, even wearing two pair of socks and having turned up the heating way more than usual, I get cold feet.

Where does Reinhold Messner buy his socks?

I will be glad of the nice cool floor in summer, of course, but right now I need a sturdy pair of slippers--the sort that one's faithful hound might bring one along wih the evening paper.

I'm in ensconsed in my duvet at the minute. Legs folded beneath me, the double bed duvet covering my body so only my arms protrude. I'm also wearing a woolly bobbled hat and thinking of going to the kitchen on a cocoa run. TuckFactor=9.

Was very warmly tucked in only moments ago, but dreamt of two loud noises, each of which woke me up (not in the dream, I actually woke up and the fell asleep, then woke again).

Nature of tuckage: many-layered, richly-colored, adjustable, extra warmth at toes from fat, fluffy socks.
