*Dons Trilby of Teutonic Efficiency*
It is the 16th of July. This means that there are 21 days until the proposed date. A couple of questions need to be answered:
1. Are we enough people to rent the field? Rizla's post indicated that the hostel would rent out their field if we were 'about a dozen or so'. How many are we so far?
2. Do we book individually? Do we even have to book? Or do we just turn up, say we're with the horde in the field and fork over the rent? If we're booking collectively, who's in charge of getting everyone's pennies and signing their life away?
3. Who's going via what route to get there? Perhaps people who are driving down and are willing to take passengers onboard could post their routes so people without transport can try and hook up? Is the van thing still on?
Most importantly, this being a camping trip:
4. Who's bringing a guitar?
My route will most likely be Belfast -> Dublin -> Rosslare -> Fishguard -> St. David's -> miles of getting lost, asking for directions of monks who've taken a vow of silence, avoiding feral sheep and digging car out of World's Largest Ditch(tm) -> Hostel. I have room for two more people plus tents/luggage and food. PM me if you want to join this merry jaunt. |
