I'll try my best to awnser your questions Ev but I doubt it'll offer much insight, unless you just want my perspective on things? I'll just ramble on and see if I can make any sense.

Never read any Crowley books but I like that quote. I'm hoping that some of the people who wank over the videos look at the sigil when they orgasm. Usually works for me. And I heard a story once of two guys at a club (Ministy of Sound I think it was) conjouring up a demon and making it run back and forth between them, somehow tapping into the other clubbers fuck knows what, spare energy? Maybe the fact that the sigil is there and people are seeing it will help. How does it work if that is the mechinism? I'd guess that where attention goes energy flows. Does it matter that most people will probably think "what the fuck is that squiggle? It's in the way", I doubt it. What kind of energy is that annoyed energy? Is there a difference between killing an ant with your foot or a bazooka? Fuckin right there is, but the ants still dead. I guess I just suscrivbe to the Yoda school of thought, do or do not there is not try, and thinking that something either gets there and works (a state of genosis I think I mean) or doesnt, is just an extention of that. If it aint broke then dont fix it, the hard part is the making of 'it' in the first place, in this case the 'it' is the method you use for getting what you desire to manifest. Which is why we asess out work to better understand things and think up better or more efficiant or even more fun ways of manifesting our will.
Didnt Grant Morrison do a sigil to help with the Invisibles because they wanted to cancel it or something, which resulted in him being enlightened? Well either enlightend people tell better storys or all that energy made the comic continue. Or both. How would that work? For some reason when you go the shops having never been to a comic book store before you think, think I'll pop in there have a look around and notice the invisibles? I dont know how it all works. Maybe the thing that makes it work clicks it's fingers (figuratively speaking) and in the futre it's already happened, and if you were to ask it "remember that porn sigil I did" It'd say what sigil? or something like I FUCKING MADE THAT SIGIL YOU ARE ME AND I AM YOU AND WE ARE ALL TOGETHER! Maybe I was supposed to make a sigil and there is no free will. It happens, or creates a surcumstance where where it is more likely to manifest if free will is involved in the desire, maybe all that talk of STRONG ENERGY! is egotistical bullshit.
What are the ethics of involving unknowing third parties? I think that depends on the intent behind the sigil right? Hardly anyone wants shit things to happen.
Maybe sigil porn will be better used for creating servitors, they need to feed on energy of they wont do much right? Maybe they store some up. Like a hampster.
