Regardless, the Hal Jordan figure looks hilarious.

Oh, look! It's Hal Jordan, Superman, Wonder Woman...and two characters fairly incidental to the plot. What about the Flash, man? What about the Challengers of the Unknown?

And is it sad that I'm satisfied that there is no Batman figure?

I wager there'll be another wave, they seem to do these runs in 'waves' with one-two characters everyone wants but not all of them in one go.

If not... this makes no sense.

Gotta love the swimming-trunks underwear costume on Hal Jordan.

I like Superman's 1920's neck crane of agitation.

A posture that positively screams "Why I oughta..."

I ended up buying the Showcase Presents reprints of the old GL comics - it's fun, but half of it stems from reading it and thinking about how Cooke managed to make Hal Jordan less of a dweeb. He managed to make Hal an effective character with definite flaws, but with enough gumption to carry through. I don't really see the New Frontier's Hal being knocked down by yellow lamps and accidentally banging his head on as regular a basis as the original Hal did.
