| So what do WW readers make of Cassie aka Wonder Girl being the daughter of Zeus? On one hand, it's a little too convenient, given how she was introduced into the WW comic; on another, it does open up intriguing new possibilites. Since Cassie is now a demigoddess, does this mean that she may one day eclipse Wonder Woman in strength and abilities? Also, how does this affect her relationship with the rest of Greek pantheon? Athena was her patron goddess, now she finds out that her patron goddess is her older half-sister. Cassie's got an entire set of relatives, some of which would act as protective guardians, others that would happily screw her (perhaps literally! Oh, those incestuous greek gods...) over if it suited their goals. Ah, the trials and tribulations of family... |
