Ooh, one more thing - anyone know any buses that go to Hampstead tube station, so I don't have to go on the tube?

I'll probably leave about 6 or 7pm.

I would assume we'd all be meeting about 2pm-ish.

Deva: it will cheer up my Sunday to see you. I am forced by directors' law to pimp my play to everyone all the time but I really don't mind if people don't want to see it.

Buses: the 46 runs from King's Cross (York Way) straight to Hampstead and drops you off outside the tube. Be warned, though - not sure when the last time you came to London was, but they have recently installed ticket machines at every bus stop so you have to buy your ticket before you get on the bus and some drivers can be very arsey if you don't. Ye shall know the 46 by the fact that it is a little flat bus (single decker, I mean). Journey time to Hampstead is about half an hour.

I should really set up some sort of travel enquiries service.

And I'm turning up at about 3 or 3.30, leaving at 6.30 or 7.

ow. i really can't afford this. but would very much like to me you. er. may consider juice and train bunkage....

< hardsell >
any chance of tempting you down to brighton at some point, where it will be impossible to spot you among the millions of intergenerational dyke couples who decorate my favourite pubs. oh and which has no northern lines, but much cafe and growly stormy sea action. (agree re london. it is stinky. don't come to london more often, bypass it and come here instead.)
< /hardsell >

squirmella, why not kidnsap them and return via brighton. that way everyone's happy and i can provide a hideout.

I'm afraid play is therefore a no-no, and to be honest,

a)i've never got on with Restoration Comedy. approve of but don't actually like. (more of a ben jonson girl....)

b)i'd rather do talking stuff than sitting side-by-side in silence stuff.

bah. finances ludicrous. won't be able to make it, i'm afraid, but the invite to better-than-london-anyday Brighton is open...

Okay, sorted! We too shall be leaving around 6:30 or 7, but won't make it there by 2pm - more like 3 or 4, sadly.

BiP - Brighton is indeed 400x better than London, and we shall come there someday.

No-one has to apologise for not wanting to see the play: I do realise that it is not the main event, merely happening nearby, and it's my own laziness that made me suggest somewhere I was already going to be that fitted the bill.

For the record though, it's not Restoration comedy, it's a comedy set during the Restoration period, and is actually closer to Jonson's Volpone than anything else. Also seeing Deva and seeing the show are not mutually exclusive, nor would I wish anyone to sit there in silence, it being designed to provoke laughter. Excuses are not necessary. However, I will have to duck out of whatever's going on at 5ish for an hour or so to do the drama thang.

OK, I'll shut up now.

Sorry I didn't see the play WP, I think I was too amazed at the cheapness of the drinks and so ended up getting pissed on them instead. Sorry to Squirmelia that I sort of ignored you, hope you enjoyed the Nano thing at least. And Deva, what can I say? Please don't be a stranger up in the frozen north, y'hear?

Our Lady of The Two Towers: I didn't notice you ignoring me, but then I didn't notice anything much, due to being rather out of it from not much sleep and a hangover. I still enjoyed being there anyway though, but am sorry that I did not speak much.
