I was kept awake until nearly 4 yesterday afternoon by my (very nice but incapable of grasping the concept of "hurry up, I need to go to bed cos I'm working tonight") landlord, and as a result now feel like a fucking zombie. If I am capable of movement by this afternoon I'll be there- if not I'll lie in bed listening to the radio and either updating the board or texting Flowers or something.

Just been down in Trafalgar Square for a bit where there are all ready loads of people, have fucked crap up by writing on the sidewalk but I don't think I've fucked shit up yet. Will be down there at about 5, possibly with some foreign students, but I can't call anyone because my phone is out of credi tand I have no money 'til I come back from the USA -- will hopefully meet up with some of yoU SOMEHOW...

yeah, it was a nice, mellow demo on the whole, a very mixed affair in terms of the different types present (from suits to crusties and everyone and everything in between). Hung around after folk had left for the Fitzrovia warming myself by the various bonfires people'd built and getting a few pics. In fact, it did kick off a little bit, the radio news I heard in the cafe this morning said 2 cops got injured, but that wasn't anywhere near where I was. My major feeling is that it was a nice demo in itself, only in the greater scheme of things rather overshadowed by the carnage in Turkey.
