Great thread. Without wishing to rot it, my take on spirit guides and the like is that they are an artefact of getting in touch with the immortal bit inside you. A terribly dull thing to say, but that's what it looks like from here.

Oh, and the name thing: sounds like Ramelzee, the 80s electro artist!

I've been trying to get the entities' names a bit clearer, and I'm getting Mah Ehl and Rah Mae Ehl

Just some thoughts on Rah Mae Ehl:

RA'AMIEL-The angel who is in charge of thunder. He is one of several angels with the task of monitoring or controlling the natural elements. He works closely with the angel Matatiel, the patron of rain.

RAHMIEL-Also Rahamiel, the so-called Angel of Mercy, who helps to promote compassion and mercy among all peoples. One of the other names for this angel is Rhamiel.

RAMIEL-Also Ramael and Remiel, an angel whose main claim to fame is assisting Baruch in the Apocalypse of Baruch with the interpretation of his visions; in the work, Ramiel gives an announcement of the impending arrival of the Messiah. The angel also appears in the First Book of Enoch, described in the same work as both good and a bad angel.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I thought I HAD updated the GB, but blogger secretly hid the posts. And then ate the posts when I tried to repost them. I have the things on my hard drive, but my hard drive is in Spain and I am in Marseille till Sat. Rrrrgh.

Anyway, thanks for the renewed interest. Those angels don't sound much like my guys, but maybe angels have to move with the times like everyone else.

RML says hi.

So, is everything okay, M.C.? It looks like there's still no update...

Meh. Sort of. I mean, I went to try and repost that entry but it was nowhere to be found on my HD. I'll have to retype the whole thing.

Also, communication with the guides seems to have gone a bit wonky, like there's some kind of interference; I can't just sit down and let them talk to me anymore, I get distracted by weird negative crap and thought intrusions. (In particular, I get a mental image of three parallel gashes on my right upper arm.)

Things in my life are a bit fraught at the mo. Maybe when everything's settled down I'll be able to write for the guides again.

Holy cats. I just found it. I was looking for something totally different and there it was... how peculiar. Anyoldhow, it's up now.

Sorry to hear your life's getting all wonky on you... I hope everything gets sorted out and you can get back in your zone. I'm sure your aliens miss you.

Well, I wouldn't say it was "wonky" exactly, just in a state of extreme flux.

Eep.

I need a reality check, please.

Err...whoa. That's...something.

What do you think "The land of the tower of steel" and all the other references meant, though? Is there a Florida connection to any of the clues that I'm not seeing? Have you been able to make any connections?

Knights of a red cross. Beware.

Could this be a reference to a hospital? (Hospitals were damaged in the hurricane.) The "kinghts" part could refer to doctors and nurses. (Bit of a stretch but just picture it as a flowery way to describe doctors.)

In a city by a great river...

My geography is rubbish. Is there a big river in Florida?

I think the references to / images of freezing in ice could refer to death by drowning under a wall of water -- I could imagine that feeling very cold, very quick.

Interesting that one of the attributes of the RMAEL deity is to god of rain, huh?

Love the resistance you're putting up to "being a shaman". Always negotiate, that's what I say

I've been wondering about this. I got the impression from the original transmission that we were talking about a man-made catastrophe, and that it would be in Europe, so I was expecting a terrorist attack on the Eiffel Tower or something... But on the other hand, the fact that there WAS a notable catastrophe on the predicted date is, y'know, interesting. Maybe there was just too much interference from conflicting timelines to get a clearer picture?

What are you thinking about this yourself, MC? Have the guides said anything in the past couple of days?

No notably big rivers in Florida (although I think the only one besides the Nile that flows away from the equator), and no cities of steel towers, really. Those things might have more to do with China, might not.

TBH, I haven't spoken to them much this week, and then only about some personal stuff. I got a bit wierded out.

I hate to be a wet blanket, I really do, but

"But on the other hand, the fact that there WAS a notable catastrophe on the predicted date is, y'know, interesting."

It's not really that interesting. In terms of "Hundreds dead" well, there's a tragedy of that scale pretty much every day. And none of the other points matches up. I think, this time, you are just shoehorning.

Gah. I hate doing this, I really do. Sorry.

Well... yeah, maybe. It's just... MC's guides usually have such cool stuff to say... and prognostication is so cool when it works.

Maybe ask the guides for Olympic win predictions, instead of disasters?...

Fair enough but the fact that she got the date right and the fact that it was unquestionably a disaster is noteworthy, at least.

Car crashes happen everyday, too, but if you predicited the time and date of one, it would be noteworthy.
If you see what I mean.

(I'm not attacking you! Promise!)

I'm watching a plane explode in midair.

One of the planes that just crashed in Russia did this, according to witnesses...

Russian Airplane Disasters

Of course, it didn't happen in spring.

Things seem a bit muddled.

I'm really curious if the steel tower bit could be made to apply to Moscow or one of the other cities the planes crashed over. Because this has more of the right "feel" to it, to me. 15th = 25th is an elision I can live with, I think.
