Okay, it is just an idea, but if 'lithers could go into the archives and pick out their personal favourites of threads in the Conversation, ones they think are "Classics" - meaning essential Barbe-reading and noteworthy topics - we could have a nice compilation thread here. Plus, n00bs to the board will have one stop shopping for Barbe-essentials. Link us all to the thread(s) you think stand the test of time here at Barbelith.

Well, those are some picks off the top of my head. I think that it may be something each forum may want to do if this seems like a good idea with some potential to people. I for one think that the compilation thread should stick to the forum it is in and only specify classics in that forum.

So, Transgendered folk, Gentlemen, Ladies, n00bs, oldtimers and anyone else I may have missed, (most likely the Ninjas and Pirates)...

Piece of history to give some context newer posters- Barbelith was about to close forever. It didn't, but a lot of posts in that thread make reference to it.
