STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Whoah. It's all getting a bit nasty in all those other threads, and I don't think I can bluff my way into the Women's Institute for long.
I'm scared to look anywhere now, to be honest.
So. A thread. Like Late Shift, only with one proviso...

NO FIGHTING.

(Sorry, I'm very very fucked and am finding all these battles somewhat hectic right now.)

Anyone with better web-fu than me (ie any) post your cute pictures NOW. (Puppies rather than kittens, but that's just me.)

Crikey. Shelling's a bit heavy out there, what? Do you think they're our guns, Bunter?

Can you take it?

My final word on the matter:

I pity those puppies.

The world has reached a sad place when my favourite living Beatle is Ringo.

May I come in?

I've brought some gin and tonic and some cushions from the Women's Institute. The embroidery's a bit wonky but they're just learning, you know. Bump up a bit, Qalyn, and you can sit on this pink one. It's stuffed with Anna de L's torn tights.

Last time I hid under this table, Sax was here too.

Oh, did you bring some WI cakes? I used to love the cakes my mum got from the WI when I was a kid.

Cakes. Pie. Beer. Puppies. Under this table is the place to be.

Thanks, Ariadne. Why, it's almost like sitting right in Anna's lap!

Stoat, those puppies don't know any better, they just lurv their daddy. And Ringo's AWESOME!

Last time I hid under this table, Sax was here too.

So long as he doesn't bring the baby. There's no room for dribbling under here.

Not wishing to diss Ringo... Ringo's cool... but he's the third of the four on my personal Fab List.

You've just reminded me of a very surreal experience I had when I was about 17 and went to Moscow... it was like 1989, and they'd just started doing the whole tourist thing. We got mobbed by a student newspaper demanding we tell them what the Beatles were doing now... you have no idea how hard it was to say "Ringo IS Thomas the Tank Engine" to people who've never heard of TTTE...

8===>Q: alyn
19:37 / 15.09.03
Hah! That's pretty funny, Stoat. It was actually TTTE that made me wake up and realize what a clever old loony Ringo really is... and has been, all along! George Carlin was on a show like that, too... was it the same one?

Anyway, I like that picture of John Lennon, because he looks a lot like my dad there.

Hey, I gotta run--I start my welding class tonight!

I hate to say this Stoatie, but I think one of Paul McCartney's puppies has been eating your knitting. It's just shit a scarf.

Oh, but first, I once accused my mother of having been a teeny-bopper (I think I said she would've been into New Kids on the Block if she were my age) and she said,

No way! I was into the Doors!

Not knitting, Jackson... crocheting.
There's an important difference which I forget right now.

I think we can still be spiky in here. As long as we are spiky like a baby hedgehog.

Ariadne
19:56 / 15.09.03
Awwww.... can I have one? please??

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK
19:58 / 15.09.03
OK. Little baby hedgehogs are allowed.

I love hedgehogs... I miss the days when I had a garden and we had a hedgehog that would turn up every night, who liked Digestive biscuits. He was cool.

I'd very gladly hold my breath and kick for one of those.

After banning Baby Sax I feel a bit guilty for welcoming baby hedgehogs. Someone'd better look after it or it'll get squashed. Look at its ickle bitty feet ...
Ahem. My first inkling of a mothering instinct and it's for a hedgehog. Trust me.

Apparently, you can eat hedgehogs. You wrap them in clay and bake them, then break off the clay. The spines come off as you do that, leaving you with a nice snack. Unless those pies turn up soon, I may have to try it.

STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Nah, that's cool. Them little 'edgepigs are fucking cool.

Obviously not as cool as anteaters, but, y'know, you can see anteaters from them.

That's so fucking ace... my cuddly Cthulhu always goes on top of our Cthulhumas tree every year... but he's never dressed up quite so festively. This must be rectified.

Your Cthulhu is much less grumpy than mine. If I had a digital camera, I could show you. But I don't.

My cut and paste is broken right now, but I just burned that spacey soundtrack from "Lucifer Rising," if anybody wants to listen to that. And has a boombox under this table.

Pumpkin pie...sweet potato pie...raspberries and blackberries and cream, with a bit of sugar on top.

I am worried about the baby hedgehog. Why is it in a human hand? Why did its mum abandon it? Was its mum dead? Did it grow up to be a happy, healthy grown-up hedgehog?

I am morbid today.
