Just to warn everybody, there's going to be a test on the London Underground to see how the emergency services would cope if there was a crisis. It's going to be centred around Bank and Monument stations, there's no clue as to when it'll be and although they insist that the tube will be unaffected (when it's happening trains won't stop at Bank) you might want to avoid the area if at all possible.

Even though I can't make it, I feel I should point out to any who CAN that there are in fact two pubs with the phrase "Cheshire Cheese" in the name in that area (yeah, bizarre, ain't it?) so check the map to make sure you get the right one, cos last time I didn't. I was halfway through my 2nd pint when the barmaid said "You look lost... are you meeting someone, cos there's a different Cheshire Cheese a couple of streets away". At first I thought she meant "Oi! Scum! Get the fuck aht uv moy pub NAAHHH!!!" Then I found the other pub and realised she was actually being helpful.
