'swish - the more the merrier, mate. And of course you can get changed at ours... I imagine you won't be alone...

I wants to come. I now regret throwing away my robe. Guess I've got the height for Frankenstein though.

Jack: who the fuck?

Jack The Bodiless
05:29 / 09.09.03
Kind of like Pol Pot, for rabbits. Monstrous dictator of Efrafa, a burrow run by fear, intimidation and random maimings. Huge, terrifying... rabbit.

Rabbits rock.

dammit. had a feeling you'd say that. who's being ironic

Jack The Bodiless
12:11 / 09.09.03
The only exception to the irony embargo is that you can come as Alanis Morrisette if you like, dear...

Cherry Bomb

Can I come as rain on my wedding day? Or a free ride that I just can't take?

Jack The Bodiless
11:09 / 10.09.03
Well, you can come as a free ride when you've already paid, certainly... also the good advice that you just didn't take.

See, getting the lyrics wrongs like that just ruins her carefully constructed ironies. You should be more careful, bombshell...

Cherry Bomb
14:23 / 22.09.03
Well who would've thought.. it figures...

Goodness Gracious Meme
14:35 / 22.09.03
I just might ...

(curly wig, guitar, endless angst and yowling. yep. i can manage that.)

Mono
18:24 / 22.09.03
as i am obsessed with team coustumes and will most likely be able to make it to this little shindig, i need a partner.

here are the options:
1) nancy kerrigan & tonya harding
2) the white stripes (only if loz is involved, though)
3) bill & ted
4) harry & draco (slash-tastic!)

or i could just come dressed as princess mononoke, but that might be too odd.

07:31 / 23.09.03
Bill and Ted sounds tempting, but also sounds like effort. Less effort then aything else, but still effort...

Tryphena Absent

Ooh, I just don't know what to do with myself.

Jack The Bodiless
11:09 / 23.09.03
Mono, hon - I'm afraid the fancy dress must be either utterly horrortastic or Halloweentastic. Hope you still wanna come...

Mono
11:51 / 23.09.03
Of course i do, Jack. But did you ever stop to consider that maybe we have a different idea of just what's "Halloweentastic" in the states? Or that i may mean to dress as zombie versions of the afformentioned characters? i mean, bill and ted DIED AND WENT TO HELL in the course of their bogus journey.

HAH!

Jack The Bodiless
17:44 / 23.09.03
'Tis true, I guess - the US does have a different idea of the whole Halloween fancy dress thing. Thewy aren't my rules, though, they're the spooky one's rules.

Having said that, there's a neat loophole in that you can come as a zombie version of anyone you want, Dead Elvis being the one I almost went for...

Regrettable Juvenilia
18:42 / 23.09.03
Can I come in a perspex box?

Goodness Gracious Meme
21:53 / 23.09.03
*must. resist.*

hmmm, think i might have to go with the zombie get-out... my costumes are always bizarre/stupid, i'm no good at the trad thing...

anna l? fancy doing a zombie trinny and susannah? think that could work...

I love team cossies. Mono, the tonya/nancy thing is genius. i'll do that one at the drop of a hat if we can find a party...

Tryphena Absent
21:59 / 23.09.03
Yeah we could tape our skin tight against our faces.

Jack The Bodiless
11:00 / 24.09.03
Fly: Are you asking for my permission or my opinion of whether you're capable of it? Either way, yes, yes, a thousand times yes. You go, girl...

Bengali/Anna - a zombie Trinny/Suzannah would be terriying. It is, however, a redundancy to call those creatures zombies...

See you all there.

I have scary costume planned.

If house delays occur for some reason, there's a backup plan to use my humble house which ain't as big but will be thankfully goth free due to 'im being lured by the questionable temptations of Whitby.

see you there.

Because starting my own threads never works, but Seth's a big lazy twatface and I don't think has bothered telling anyone I'm here (he knows... ), I'm, uh... here now.

Jack The Bodiless
09:19 / 30.09.03
Yes, but you take ages to answer text messages. Want to come out for Cass' birthday on Saturday night?

Cherry Bomb
14:37 / 30.09.03
I'm gonna ask off work on the 31st today in anticipation of going to this Shindig...

_pin
16:48 / 30.09.03
Yeh, but I have no signal anywhere around. I was planning on flogging my Frewsher's Ball tickety to someone's out of town boy and meeting you that nite anyway. PM me arrangements and I'll try and sort my head out.

Cherry: I'm gonna ask off work on the 31st today in anticipation of going to this Shindig...

Groovy two-shoes...

Pin - I'll call you tonight and let you know. Will probably be the usual, to be honest - drinks at our local (that's the Hobbit, in Bevois Valley), followed by more drinks/dancin' at the Dungeon. This last will not be your cup of tea, but it won't be Seth's either, and he'll be there. In fact none of us really like the Dungeon that much. We only go there through inertia.

Seth

Because starting my own threads never works, but Seth's a big lazy twatface and I don't think has bothered telling anyone I'm here (he knows... ), I'm, uh... here now.

All I got was a text saying that you were rocking my world. Or some equivalent. I had to text you ask whether you had actually arrived or not...

*BUMP*

We move house this Friday. Yay, etc. Nearly finished packing already, too. Good Lord, we're organised.

Anyone who's coming from a distance and would like to stay is welcome - bring a sleeping bag or summat, though.

adamswish
13:37 / 07.10.03
good luck with the move you two.

Need to have a long sit down with my finances before committing, and besides I have a dreadful feeling the old standard of boiler suit and hockey mask just won't cut it at this little shin-dig.

Actually can you call something that is planned to last over 48hrs a shin-dig?

Jack The Bodiless
15:04 / 08.10.03
That's only the plan... the sad state of affairs with recreationals in my home town right now may shorten that by a good day.

And I think it'd be referred to as a hootenanny. Not sure, though.

By the way - boiler suit and hockey mask is fine. I went as Michael Myers last year - miss spooky went as a cheerleader victim of mine and won first prize in our local's fancy dress competition.

like adamswish, will have to ask my finances nicely for permission...

good luck with the move, hon.

Good luck moving! Hopefully J&I will be there if we can devise good enough cossies...

15:12 / 09.10.03
:-) I was going to go as JtB, sorry, 'in your mum, bee-yatch' but I don't think I could pull it off...

Seth
08:10 / 11.10.03
I'm gonna go as a corporate whore.
