GOOD MORNING!

And what spankingly fine figure of a morning it is here in 2007, too! I feel like Stuart Hall on coke!

The daffs are daffing about, fluffy cotton-wool clouds are bustling busily away, my dwarf rose is poking dear little buds out of every available branch, it's my boyfriend's birthday and I'm taking him for breakfast to a sweet little jazz cafe in Stockbridge! Global warming has decided that it's July, not March, the sun's shining as if it's never done it before and is trying it out as a fab new fashion accessory and everything's BEAUTIFUL!

Here's lookin' at YOU, Barbelith.

Cultural Studies Stuart Hall or Jeus San Frontières Stuart Hall? I suppose the ideal would be both...

Im googling Stuart Hall.
(walks away mumbling about this damn eurocentric board)

And drinking coffee.

I am avoiding watching thousands of bigots tootling and banging their way past my window wearing orange. Twats.

If we all lived in the same place, Penfold would be about to crash into an Orange march.

Jeux Sans Frontiers, Haus. Who's the other guy?

Yes, I was rather enjoying this morning until someone at the cafe pointed it out about the bigots. Blech.

Morning - I've just applied for a job - the first job that I've "applied" for in about, oh, 7 or 8 years.

Cult Studs, which is conveniently also the name of my favourite magazine.

For those who don't know what riled me it was this 10,000 masons, unionists, children and musicians (and, quite possibly, a few former terrorists) clogging up the town. I heard "fuck the Pope" more than a few times...

Do I wanna crash, or stay up a lil' longer until the stores open? Then I could buy a hat.

Wow, I haven't changed my name for three months. That's Warcrack for you. Normal service will be resumed when I ding 70. Honest. Anyway, it's a lovely morning. No marching bands, no neighbours, just a glass or two of gin then bed. Night night.

Well, here we are again. 10:49am. Feh. It's always roughly the same.

I sit and type up long, dull letters about diarrhoea and colonoscopies and munch my way through a £2 bar of fruit and nut and a packet of dried apricots. Every Day.

How I wish something interesting would happen.

I think I shall go and look for a sleepy old thread to harass and wake up, or two. I wonder what I shall find...

Up with sunlight pouring in, reminding me there's this day, and it's a day off (for once!) and I have errands to run. But I'm going to sit around in the pajamas and not doing anything for just a little bit longer...

... which is what pajamas are for. Not sleeping in.

And aren't we all busy this morning, otherwise, posting away like busy little posting beavers!

I didn't sleep at all. Stupid full moon.

I did get to watch up to the penultimate series 3 Battlestar episode though (knucklebiting! worship at the altar of Baltar!) and advance my Moria character up to level 25, and now have that strange-day syndrome you get that makes everything slightly surreal.

I'm waking up with some Ministry thanks to my erratic itunes, oh wait now some Cramps. I'm staring at the mostly empty guts of the office once again wondering if we look like a con artist's thrown together setup. A bunch of empty desks, cardboard boxes, and computers everywhere. Though the King Kong poster gives us away as a geeks I suspect.

Mostly I'm trying to figure out if it's the grey rainy day keeping me sleepy or if I need to adjust for my new supplements.

I have a low level bit of angst that tonight maybe the night we watch the last episode of Angel thus ending our exploration of the TV Whedon-verse. At least Quants has reminded me I'm looking forward to getting BSG III on DVD next. Now to read the riveting over night adventures of the servers...

In light of recent developments on the "Uncool Quotes" thread, I wish to amend my previous mood to :"Stuart Hall at a moment in his life during which he felt exceedingly pleased!"

(I don't feel like that today at *all*, just to magnify the confusion. Today I feel like an old stripey sock freshly unearthed from the back of the sock drawer, sans partner and looking a bit dated, unfashionable and sheepish.)

i am sick in bed for the 4th day running. Reading the same websites and waiting for anybody to email me to relieve the boredom. Each gulp of water feels like a grit encrusted golf ball. ouch.

I'm sorry about the downbeat and sickly posters.

I'm editing. I'm putting 'I'm editing' down here and will not be back for SEVERAL HOURS because otherwise, the lie will shame me.
